Duplex Options

Duplex Options are embedded parameters and/or commands in the AFP docs (document, page segment, overlay, or medium overlay) to indicate on which sides of the output sheet the target printer prints your AFP docs. The target printer can be a consumer inkjet printer, a high-volume laserjet printer, or a CMYK printing press.

Simplex

Print only one side on each output sheet.

Duplex

Print both sides on each output sheet and arrange the resulting sheets to be found on the left.

Tumble Duplex

Print both sides on each output sheet and arrange the resulting sheets to be bound on the top.
